Ranila Ravi Burslem

Ranila is the Distribu6on Director of the Workplace Savings and Re6rement business with responsibility for acquisi6on, reten6on and member engagement for Aviva in the UK. Previously Ranila used to lead the customer strategy for the SME market as Director of SME Solu6ons. Working horizontally pan-UK across GI, Life and Health businesses she was responsible for innova6ng proposi6ons and distribu6on models. In this role, Ranila launched a market first digital, composite proposi6on for small businesses called Aviva360.

Before Aviva, Ranila was Director of customer strategy, revenue and digital for NEST Pensions where she had responsibility for customers across commercial and retail markets. She has broad experience of delivering business growth and strategies in diverse sectors such as professional services, financial services and chari6es. She also has a number of non-exec Board posi6ons with Worldreader – a global literacy charity and Upside Savings – an open-banking led fintech. She is passionate about gender and development issues.
